A Mother's Wish...

You are all over 18years old now, the age of Independence. Pretty soon you'll have a family of your own as well. I wish you all the best.
I know I wasn't a perfect mom because my knowledge in making a home-cooked meal is limited. But I want you all to know, I almost have a library of cookbooks because I wanted you to somehow experience my cooking. It's just that I suck in that talent. I can't even perfect a recipe and cook the same meal with the same taste.
I hope you won't fault me with that.
Neither am I a super mom! To rescue you in all your problems. I wish I was.
Nor the religious one you see hear mass every Sunday. But rest assured I pray to the darnest to keep you all from harm when you're not in sight coz you're with your friends.

Now that you are all in your independent ages, I wish you best and wish you well as that's all a poor mom can offer.
