Nothing is more heartwarming than when told... You look much younger than those women half your age!

Caught off guard by such an unexpectedly kind remark, I could only muster a smile. It's rather remarkable, especially considering my actual age.

"They really appear older than you," came the affirmation, followed by, "I'm intrigued, is it perhaps of their line of work?"

Even I am uncertain, for it might be that one's perspective on life prevents the weight of years from etching onto their physical visage.

The hidden truth?

it's a matter of TIME.

TIME has its own way of changing things.

Time can change intensity to impassivity,
--- fervency to insensitivity...

One can neither slow down time nor suspend it.
--- neither accelerate nor augment it.

Tomorrow can never become today as tomorrow is always another day.

So is yesterday, it is a time gone and is already part of the past.

For whatever was done cannot be undone.

Whatever was said, cannot be unsaid!

In other words, you can never go back to undo it. It already happened, it is done.

You may apologize but you can never take back what you said - Good or bad, nice or not nice...

And so as TIME goes by, things change...

Delays affect outcomes -
TIME impacts decisions, and indecision paralyzes results.

As TIME goes by,

memory fails,

hurt fades away...

And so things change... after all, TIME constantly changes, each moment passing is already part of the past...

What is Love?

Really, what is it?

I just often wonder what love really is... why does one say "I love you"?

Isn't "I love you" just an expression of one's feelings - of affection, of fondness towards the other person? 
It doesn't promise anything, right? Not even a lasting relationship... even if you say forever --- because forever is such a long way of time and time has its way of changing things... a mere promise of forever is not a guarantee to a lasting relationship.


Time changes... as it changes, so with feelings... as change is the only constant, it is inevitable.
